Two more of the five vocational mathematics books available from EdITS have been revised. The new edition of Mathematics Through Home Management will be available for purchase and for review in May and the new edition of Mathematics Through Auto Mechanics is currently available. The Home Management book contains word problems related to home management issues such as budgeting, purchase of a home, and general living expenses. The Auto Mechanics text contains word problems on the functions of various car systems. These word problems have all been revised to make the numbers and stories more realistic for the world-of-work today. In addition to the word problems there are basic drills and exercises designed so that in one class students can be working on any combination of the Home Management, Construction, or Auto Mechanics books at the same time.

The Applied Vocational Math Series addresses the fundamentals commonly found in general or basic math texts for the sixth through tenth grades. This set of books captures the attention of students who have had a hard time getting interested in more traditional texts by keeping them interested in learning by applying math concepts to real life situations. This unique series works as basic curriculum or as a supplement to the material you currently use.
