Spanish COPES Although preliminary data have been collected, we are currently collecting new norms for the Spanish COPES. Like the English version, the Spanish COPES measures values as they relate to the COPSystem Career Clusters. EdITS already publishes Spanish versions of the COPS Interest Inventory and CAPS ability battery. The COPS Picture Inventory of Careers (COPS-PIC) may also be used for English as a second language speakers. Please see related article for more information on the Spanish COPES.
COPS-PIC We are currently renorming the COPS Picture Inventory of Careers (COPS-PIC). The COPS-PIC uses pictures to describe job activities as opposed to words and is an ideal interest assessment for those with reading or language difficulties. |
COPS-R We are still collecting data for the COPS-R Interest Inventory. The COPS-R is a simplified version of the COPS and is written at a sixth grade reading level with gender balanced items. The COPS-R is accessible to a wide range of examinees and provides complete interest assessment and interpretation in a single, easy-to-use booklet.Interest scores are related to the14 COPSystem Career Clusters. Each Cluster is cross-referenced to high school and college curriculum, as well as current sources of occupational information.
