QUESTION:
How do I know whether I need the COPSystem Comprehensive
Career Guide or the
Self-Interpretation Profile and Guide?
ANSWER:
If you will be administering a single assessment, for example the COPS, it is more cost effective to order the COPS Self-Interpretation Profile and Guide. If you are administering more than one assessment, you can use either the COPSystem Comprehensive Career Guide or the individual
Self-Interpretation Profile and Guides. The Comprehensive Career Guide is useful for administrators who prefer to keep scores and interpretation in one booklet. Self-Interpretation Profile and Guides may be used with or without the Summary Guide. The Summary Guides are an option for summarizing results from combinations of assessments.
QUESTION:
How do I know if I need the Summary Guide?
ANSWER:
If you've done the scoring and interpretation of two or three assessments in individual
Self-Interpretation Profile and Guides and you would like to summarize the results on a single booklet, you may do so in the Summary Guide. This option works well for those who use a form of the COPS, such as the COPS-R or COPS II, that is not available as the interest component in the Self-Scoring Career Measurement package.
QUESTION:
How do I know if I need Hand Scoring Keys?
ANSWER:Most of the COPSystem assessments do not require Hand Scoring Keys for self-scoring. If an instrument does require Keys this will be clearly noted in the item description.
