The Multiple Affect Adjective Checklist-Revised (MAACL-R) measures affect as both a temporary state (the "Today" or State Form) and more generally, as a disposition ("In General" or Trait Form). Both Forms are standardized scales that differentiate clients with affective disorder from those with other disorders and from "normals."
