What is the Resource Center?

The Resource Center is home to useful information for adult learners, educators, counselors, parents and students who are interested in using career development information to improve their lives or the lives of their clients.

Our goal is to host information on a variety of topics that inform and educate our clients.

Science & Practice

Designed to provide summaries of scholarly research and applied articles from a variety of sources to inform practitioners with empirically supported recommendations in the areas of assessment and counseling.

Additionally, practitioner authored reports, summaries, or columns are featured to provide reseachers with information and suggestions to guide future areas of research.

Counselor's Corner

A focus on articles for counselors that provide information on practical issues related to counseling, client needs, vocational rehabilitation, and workforce development.


Some information is also presented on career guidance interpretation and trends related to vocational counseling.

Information related to the use of our assessments, including best practices, interpretation, and past research with the COPSystem and other psychological inventories.
